Seminars

Periodically SCILET joins with other interested organizations to co-sponsor seminars of one or more days related to Indian Literature in English.  Some of these seminars attempt to give a first acquaintance with this literature to participants from overseas countries as part of a longer general introduction to Indian art and culture.  Other seminars have involved professionals in this field who come to present papers on aspects of Indian literature that are then intensively discussed.  Major seminars in which SCILET has collaborated are listed below, together with their dates, co-sponsors, and seminar leaders.
