Many Persons from India and overseas have come for visits to SCILET who are not named in any of the lists above. Some have come simply for an acquaintance with the Centre, having heard of it from those who have used its facilities. Others have spent time more seriously browsing the holdings of the SCILET library. Several have spent longer periods of time -- a few days, one or two weeks – working on sustained research projects in the library of the Centre. Such visitors are marked with a special sign (*) and a phrase mentioning the research project which they were pursuing. Visitors are residents of India unless otherwise noted.
